What does the Family Hot Air Balloon Flight include?
The family hot air balloon flight is exactly the same as our shared hot air balloon flights, except that the balloon is just for you.
It is the same activity we do on every hot air balloon flight; nothing changes.
We fly every day and meet at sunrise; depending on the time of year you book your family flight, it can be between seven and eight in the morning. We wait for you at the take-off field with everything ready to start the activity.
We climb into the basket, where the pilot in command will explain how the hot air balloon flight works. Hot air balloon flights are a very gentle and calm way to enjoy the views of our surroundings. As the balloon has no engine or propeller driving us, there is no fear or vertigo, and the feeling is very calm and smooth.
We will be in the air for an hour, enjoying the old town of Segovia. After an hour of flight we will land, and right there we will tell you why there is a tradition of uncorking a bottle of cava after every hot air balloon flight. It is a short tale that explains the reason for that tradition in 5 minutes.
And of course, we will uncork the traditional bottle of cava and serve the equally traditional country breakfast. So we enjoy a calm and fun country breakfast, with the cava, right in the landing field.
Once we finish breakfast, we pack everything up and return to the take-off field, where we started the activity and where you have your cars. In total about three hours will have passed, during which our flight team has devoted itself exclusively to making your hot air balloon flight unique, unrepeatable, and with your family!
